All Music Guide - William Ruhlmann
If you listen carefully, the songs are about Jesus rather than love sweet love, but even a casual hearing lets you know this is one of the most soulful duos to come along since Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Keith Thomas gives the production a contemporary R&B sheen.

    Heaven is a MASTERPIECE

I remember hearing this album when it first came out and it is still incredible. The writing, production and performance of all the pieces are virtuosic. "Celebrate New Life" is still one of Bebe's seminal statements as a composer and producer. Cece is brilliant as always, her instrument is so extraordinary, that she creates vocal orchestras, not just background vocals or lead vocals.
