About the Author

Many of you have heard of Oden Hetrick who visited Heaven many times.  Now let me introduce you to Joyful Star who travelled for many years with her Dad, Mom and siblings, sharing gospel music.  They were known as the Singing Hetrick Family.  She also taught Good News Clubs with Child Evangelism Fellowship, was Bible teacher at Christian youth camps, and Vacation Bible Schools for various denominations during those years.  She is the daughter of Oden Hetrick, who authored the book “Inside The Gates of Heaven”.  So she grew up believing that God is the God of the living.  And that He is the Father of all the saints in Heaven and on earth whose names are written in the book of Heaven.  She was encouraged by her parents to study the Bible and have regular prayer times.  As she learned to know God intimately, He began to show her things of Heaven.  Now that her parents are gone, she is helping to carry on the work of Hetrick House Ministries.  She continues to share a little bit of Heaven in word and song, in churches, homes, camps, conferences, etc.
