Jacqueline J. Andrews was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She received a B.A. in Business Education and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Chicago State University.

She teaches English Composition, Creative Writing, and Studies in Literary Genres for several colleges and universities.

In her free time, she loves to read, travel, and shop. She also likes trying new restaurants and different cuisines all around the world. She currently resides in a suburb of Chicago with her husband and daughter.
