Meet the Author

Melissa Smith lives in the midwest with her husband, and two teenage sons. Oh and Sam I Am. The cat. I am the lone female in a testosterone filled house. (Yes, I need pity. Even the cat is a boy.)

I simply love the written word. All the places you get to visit by simply separating some pages. The people you get to live through and love. All the adventures you get to have. The worlds you get to visit and travel.
I hope you join me in my books and travel, live and love with me.

Review for the Heir (The Waiting Throne)

    By: Melissa Smith

Every little boy wants to be like his daddy, but Salmund isn’t your everyday little boy. Salmund is a Prince and wants to go with his father the King hunting. Well Salmund isn't just any child he is a Prince.

Salmund's mother doesn’t want her baby to go as he is only 3 yrs. of age. However the King gets his wife to agree to let Salmund to go with.

Who took Salmund ? How will the king tell his wife? Will she forgive him?

Do the kidnappers know they took the KING’S son?!?! If they do will he want to go back and live with his birth parents or will he feel like they don’t love him anymore? Will Salmund understand that he is a Prince or will he not care and want to stay with the people he feels is his parents? What will he think of his birth parents? Will they understand all Samlund went through while they were all apart?

This Book will keep you wondering and wanting more.

Are you ready for a quest of a lifetime?

I would give this book a 5 out of 5 as Melissa out did herself again. I read this book in just a few hours as I couldn’t put it down. Nor will you be able to.

Melissa Please note you’re the reason I stay up late now lol.
