I bought this book, couldn't put it down, and at 1:30 am, finished it. Excellent plot with several twists and turns. Loved it. Thanks for a great read! Looking forward to the next one.

The first book was free of course just to lure me in. None of the books can be read alone and if you want to know how it ends then you have to keep purchasing and reading. In the end I will probably spend 16.00! I have passed by books that I really wanted for being over 10.00 but I'm probably going to spend the money more to satisfy my compulsion to get to the ending than from reading enjoyment. ... And the overview 'neither Chey nor Sander knew the lenghts the king and queen would go to to keep them apart'. Really? Because threatening and attempting murder didn't clue them in? Do not fall into the trap like I did!

I may not continue with this series, not because the writing is bad or that the plot needs work but because I expected it to be more romance less family drama. There is simply little to no romance anymore but a bitter rivalry for the throne..

Loved this series! A friend of mine lent me book 1 and I enjoyed it so much I immediately bought Book 2 & 3. I read all 3 over the weekend. I couldn't put them down. I can't wait for book 4 to be released May 20th! I hope B&N will have it available for the Nook! Ms. Bourdon if you read this - I hope you write a book for Mattias. mg1302
