The twists of a royal's mind will give you a headache but will also keep you intrigued enough to finish the book. The royals are haughty and arrogant which generally brings out the worst in an American but underneathe their facades lies people who want to live a life as close to normal as they can get. I really enjoyed the book enough to buy the next one. If you are looking for smoking hot sex scenes they aren't there but if you like a romantic thriller this book fits the bill.

I almost put this book down in the first chapter (desperation is one thing, but haring off with strangers who promise riches and say not to worry about a passport - without even googling to make sure they aren't slavers?) but I'm glad I didn't. Suspend disbelief long enough to get into the story. I'll be reading the next one.

    Absolutely loved it!!!

Heir Untamed is one amazing start for a series. Of course there were times when I had issues with a character, but they were few and far between. This book has evrything a reader looks for. This book has adventure, very likable/relatable characters, as well as a very realistic love story. Well, kind of..I am telling you right now that it would benefit you greatly to read this spectacular piece of well-written literature. The romance is not kinky and the romance is not all about knocking boots every chapter. Its amazing! I recommend this book one hundred percent. When you are finished, go read the next one!

    Loved it

This was really a great book - lots of twists to keep it exciting and enough romance to warm your heart. It was a great length, which many lack these day. The reader wasn't left feeling like it jumped over important parts. Even though I have several books in queue, this story is one that I just have to finish!

Hard to get into, but picks up

A little heavy on the random details and kind of predictable, but enjoyable after you get about a third of the way in.

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about.  I read the first several chapters and just could not get interested in any of the characters.  One fellow seems too good to be true, but you think he's cheating, the next seems too arrogant to be likable (Mr. Darcy, anyone), and the main character doesn't seem interesting enough to attract either of them.  Add the aloof royal family and I just don't care to know what happens to anyone.  I also found the writing style rather plodding.

    Cute

A cute but predictable story line with some glaring errors that make it unbelievable. Chey packs up and goes off with a couple of strangers to who knows where? Really? She gets attacked on horseback by a guy in a foreign country who just happens to start speaking English to her, and he knows all the modern colloquialisms. Really? And so on. I did appreciate the fact that this is a "clean" story and I didn't have to wade through pages and pages of trite and graphic sex, but even so it was just okay for me.

OK, I understand some authors don't want to include detailed sex

OK, I understand some authors don't want to include detailed sex scenes; however, this story did not even have passion. The sex was mentioned after the fact and there was no love, no passion, no emotion between the "lovers." Imagine kissing the back of your hand....
