Sixth in the Dear Helen series, this sequel offers an abundant combination of all new quilting patterns as well as the most popular patterns from previous publications. Categories include Elegant Sets, Continuous Lines, Circular Styles, Fun Patterns, Sashing Strips II, Border Designs, and Background Grids VI. Illustrated examples of when and where to quilt are included. Traditional patterns are adapted for machine or long-arm quilting. Helen also shares her hallmark method of making perfect miters for borders.
Helen Squires has been a quilt teacher, designer of quilting patterns, guest lecturer, auctioneer, and Q&A columnist for 30 years, and is well known for her six books in the Dear Helen series of quilting patterns. Helen began her publishing career as the "Dear Helen, Can You Tell Me...?" columnist for "Lady's Circle Patchwork Quilts" magazine in 1978 and published the first of her "Dear Helen" books in 1987. Helen's "historical" one hour lectures on quilting are often called "hysterical".
