Mark Lord is a UK based writer, living in the southeast of England. He mostly writes historical fiction and fantasy, although he has been known to write a bit of Science Fiction now and again.
Mark's favourite authors include Gene Wolfe, Ursula le Guin and Iain Banks, and he is currently getting into Dan Simmons and Neal Stephenson. Outside SF&F he enjoys the thrillers of Robert Harris and loves Tolstoy's War and Peace.
