SHE WAS CALLED BELLE FROM HELL. . . .
As fierce and indomitable as any man, Isabelle of Langston rules the family lands with an iron hand after her father's death. But the brazen beauty meets her match in Hugh Fauconier, bold knight and rightful Saxon heir to Langston Keep. By the King's hand, he is made her husband. Hugh's virile prowess reveals to Belle the delicious pleasures of the flesh, as their turbulent days of verbal sparring melt into nights of erotic abandon.
But a treacherous plot enslaves Hugh to the evil Vivienne d'Bretagne, a sorceress whose sexual magic is as powerful as it is dark. Discovering the castle lair where her husband is enchanted, Belle is caught, and rendered helpless by the twisted passion of Vivienne's brother, Guy. But not even her captor's devious ecstasy can destroy her will to free her beloved Hugh. . . .

Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly - Publisher's Weekly
Set in the early 12th century, between Henry Beauclerc's ascension to the English throne in 1100 and his eventual victory over his older brother Duke Robert of Normandy at the battle of Tinchebrai in 1106, Small's (Skye O'Malley) latest mixes a goodly bit of history with lots of her signature sex-some gruffly randy and some sinisterly practiced. Hugh Fauconier, a childhood friend of Henry Beauclerc, is rewarded with Langston, the lands of his Saxon ancestors. Like all good things, they come with fine print, in this case the late Norman lord's daughter, known with varying degrees of disaffection as Isabelle or ``the Belle from Hell.'' But Hugh's a good sort and manages to woo the headstrong young woman, marry her and father a son before going off on business for his king. When he doesn't return, Belle sets out in search of him. She fights off the lustful King Henry in one of the more entertaining sections before heading to Brittany, where she finds the amnesiac Hugh in thrall to two decadent descendants of Vivienne (as in Merlin and). Belle herself becomes a strangely willing sex slave as she attempts, somewhat leisurely, to save Hugh. There's lots of history here and a good eye for detail, and the sex is (usually) compelling, but Small really needs to lose those gratuitous spanking scenes. (Jan.)

    AMAZING!!

I have read almost every Bertrice Small book out there, and I can definitly say that Hellion is my favorite. It's a great mix, of seduction, suspense, and all over passion.

Unmatched Incredible the best romance novel I have ever read!!!!

I read this romance novel amongst the hundreds of others last year and I have found NONE to match up to B. Smalls Hellion. I think of it often, especially the threesome with Belle,Hugh and Guy. Breathtakingly captivating I am now going to order her other books the first being Love Slave, more B please more like Hellion!!!!!

Makes you want to drop the book and grab a man!

The only book I've read by Beatrice is The Love Slave. I'm sorry I hadn't read any of her books before. Now I'm going after Hellion. It sounds really good. I love B. Small now, and I can honestly say ever since I read The Love Slave, every book I start to read is just dull. So I have a new favorite author. Thank you Beatrice Small!

    One of her best!

Hellion is one of the most erotic novel written by Bertrice Small next to Captivated and The Love Slave. Small understands a woman's secret fantasies and i would highly recommend this book to readers who enjoys a lot of sensuality in romance novels. If you get turned off by a lot of kinky sex this is not for you. The threesome between Guy, Belle and Hugh might be too much for gentle readers but the more adventurous reader will find it extremely erotic and enjoyable.

    Good Read

I have read most of Bertrice Small's books, starting with "Skye O'Malley" in hardback MANY years ago. So far I've liked them all (some better than others), & this one did not disappoint!

Ok story-except for the rape scene

It almost is too historical with the knight raping the sacrificial friend because the headstrong heroine wont give in to his demands, which turned out to be a ridiculous sacrifice of her friend since her own family sold her out. Small could have left that scene out and the story would have been better for it
