Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Swedish chef and author Lindholm (A Piece of Cake) shares her favorite cupcakes and whoopie pies in this Australian import, which features a pastel-colored layout and tranquil photographs of seaside outings and children's parties. To make these treats, readers will need a kitchen scale (for metric measurements) and familiarity with ingredients like golden syrup, double cream, and muscovado sugar. Many flavors are traditional (e.g., caramel, coconut), but others are distinctive (e.g., saffron, passion fruit). VERDICT An easy and attractive home baking book that celebrates two extremely popular desserts.
