Meet the Author

Kristen Marie is the creator and editor of "Don't Forget the Pepper Spray" and author of "Hello Life" which details her humorous personal story as she transitioned from devout Mormon to independent thinker and the clumsy journey that accompanied this life-altering transformation.

Before venturing into the publishing business as an author, she cut her teeth as an advertising and marketing copywriter for some of the most powerful companies in the world.

She currently lives in Salt Lake City, UT with her husband and three daughters.

    Entertaining, interesting, and thought provocative!!

    Once I started to read "Hello Life", I could not put it down. We all have gone through relationships and questions of ourselves and even on our religious beliefs. This is an entertaining, well written journal. The writer sounds strong and the ending makes you feel that even through everything you must go through in life, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

    Super fun romp through someone else's life story.....

    This book lets you literally peek into someone else's diary. Not just anyone's diary, but someone with some pretty awesome stories. Stories that include a crazy weekend with US Special Forces (including how they felt about President Obama), a love triangle and ensuing awkward situations, dating disasters, religious experimentation, personal growth and a happy ending.

    Fun read, good writing and a real page turner.
