Read an Excerpt

"I thought I'd lost you forever." He leaned his forehead against her stomach and a shudder went through his strong body. "Ana, if you were gone, I couldn't exist." He pulled back and kissed her flesh. "You are my everything."

Before she could respond, he brought his mouth to her core. A hoarse sob slipped past her lips as her body swayed. Gods, the things he could do with his tongue. It lightly danced along her clit before he speared it inside her. She brought her hands to his shoulders to support herself as she arched back, her breasts thrust forward. The water continued to beat against her front and added to the erotic sensations that rippled over her body.

"Your cream tastes so good," he growled. "It's sweet and fiery, just like your personality. I could eat you all day, you're better than any manna created. Fuck, Ana, do you have any idea what you do to me?"

His harsh language made her wetter for him. While it should have insulted her, instead it made her so turned on she almost came at the words. Her high-pitched wail filled the shower stall when he speared his tongue inside her again.

Mmmmmm, can I get my own angel?

Let me first say that I really did enjoy the story that was told. (I also liked the other 3 books). I could totally embrace my very own Appolion (I'd rather him have a normal name in real life though :P), but the author's created this wonderful character who has flaws and knows it. He's protective, blunt, macho, and downright sexy. I liked the introduction of the characters and I liked revisiting ones from previous stories.

However, the book is riddled with very bad punctuation and incorrect words. I think the author seriously needs to have these books proofread before they're printed, even in electronic format. I basically paid $6 for a book that had so many flaws in it that I started making notes. One statement changed the name of a character because the author forgot a letter in the name.

The first three books had numerous mistakes as well. I continued to buy because overall I enjoyed the storyline. But the fact is, I was distracted by all the errors. I've even sent an email to the publisher regarding all of the mistakes.

Yes, I know it's crazy to dwell on the small stuff; but I'm a little picture person.

But again, I did enjoy the actual story of Ana and Appolion.
