Gripping book you can't put down

I had the opportunity to read this book a few years ago. I had trouble putting it down. It grips you by the gut and takes you down the path of what it is like to become a part of, remain a part of, and work your way up into the most revered Biker Gang in the world. It reveals the Gang for what they really are. An underworld crime syndicate closely related to the mafia. If you get a chance, and you like to read true stories, read it.

Great book. It tells the real story...

I read this book a few years ago, and I came away with the impression that Yves Lavigne feels the same way Kevin (previous reviewer who thought LaVigne was glorifying the HA's) does about these vile criminals - HE HATES THEM! The only references to any media blame I can recall, is that they bought into the 'good guy' image the hells angels try to create when they do Toys for Tots drives and other 'front' operations like that. Clearly, a couple of these reveiwers are HA's themselves. They hate the 'hero' of this book because he exposed these murdurous violent thugs for what they really are.

    Glorifying a rat

LaVigne hates the HA's so much he resorts to glorifying a Judas- a stool pigeon who was not a cop, but, for the love of money, ratted out on a bunch of guys he was supposed to be a brother to, abused drugs, and married a prostitute. LaVigne's 'hero' is not.

    Hells Angels

book is a quick read. not very many decent people involved in the story including law enforcement officers. Its interesting to read about a group of people who still act like children even though there suppose to be adults.

    Just another Rat Punk

Great book if you want to read lies and B.S.Tony is so full of himself it is not even funny. Born to be a rat, ended up a rat. Could not ride with the pack, gave him a tummy ache and he puked. His major claim to fame is who he put away. And anyone with a 5th grade education can see that all it takes is someone to lie for the govenment to make a case.Thats what he did. Wonder how it feels to spend all your waking minutes looking over your shoulder and runing scared? Just ask Tony, if you can find him

    A RAT IS A RAT

Anyone in any kind of Brotherhood should spit in the face of this loathsome worm. How Mr. Tait can wake up and look himself in the mirror and see an 'Honorable man' remains a mystery. But it is good to know that he will have to look around corners for the rest of his miserable existance. I thank the author for alerting the MC world that scum like this exists and we should be careful of who we let through the door, but he also should not consider himself the foremost expert on the Hells Angels. I'd give Sonny that title.
