Overview

At 44 Licking Pike in Wilder, Kentucky... just across the river from Cincinnati, Ohio... lies, what has been called "the most haunted place in America." Bobby Mackey's Music World, a country/western bar and nightclub, is well known for it's mechanical bull. It is better known for more violent encounters with spirits than anywhere else in the US. Visitors and staff members report everything from poltergeist-like phenomena, to disembodied voices and laughter, to actual physical attacks by unseen forces. There are, on record, 29 sworn affidavits of sightings, several from police and clergy. Paranormal Investigator Doug Hensley was called in to determine the causes for the strange occurrences. Mr. Hensley, author of Hell's Gate, made some startling discoveries. Read America's most Documented Haunting, Hell's Gate.

    A Spine Tingling Horror Story

A Story of two mean dead men and a headless pregnant woman. The stories that witnesses have told about Bobby Mackeys music world are totally freaky. Stories of Entities literally making contact with the living, nausiating stenches, and exorcisms this book will keep you on the edge of your seat. It gave me goosebumps and sent shivers up and down my spine. I do recommend this book to people who are interested in the paranormal.

    It's No Lie

This book is packed with hard core facts about the supernatural world surrounding Bobby Mackey's. I have gone there almost every weekend for almost 2 years and the place never seems to amaze me. Believe me, I know the man that wrote the book, and I know Bobby Mackey. This IS NOT another phoney book of ghost stories and Douglas Hensley provides the hard facts to prove it. It is worth reading. Email me anytime. Ill see you on the ghostly side!!!

Hell's Gate: Terror at Bobby Mackey's Music World

Of all the books I have read on ghosts, poltergeist and hauntings this one scared the absolute hell out of me. I have never seen a book packed with sworn statements, documentation, and tons of history on the site where a place is purorted to be haunted. This one makes Amityville Horror seem like a child's cartoon. This is a must read if you want to research or study the after life.

Hell's Gate: Terror at Bobby Mackey's Music World

I could not believe the documentation this book had in it supporting the tale of violent ghosts and poltergeist attacks. Not only did this book keep me turning the pages, but it is backed by copies of sworn statments by 29 witnesses and has a complete history of the story which makes me believe this really is a true story.
