I was sickened by this book - it sends what could be a very dangerous message to children - do not "tell" do not "snitch" - basically breaking down communication and trust with your child. Why do children "not tell" their parents when they are being molested? Why do teenagers refuse to "snitch" on kids that have or are planning on committing crimes? How about teens that talk to friends about suicide and they don't talk until after the tragedy? Because they were taught that "tattling" or "telling on someone" was bad when they were young. Do not raise a child afraid to come to you. Encourage communication. Read NurtureShock for more on this subject. Do not waste your money on this book.
