Overview

The holidays have arrived but Kyle Shannon isn't feeling festive. Her lover may be leaving, and her friend Tiffany is in the financial pits. Things aren't right at Office Right, either. On assignment within the company, she finds bottoming sales, temps with attitude, and a boss as frosty as a snowman.

Then somebody murders a manager and all the ho-ho-ho goes up the chimney.

Forced to add "find the killer" to their holiday wish list, Kyle and Detective Ian Page face a jumble of confusing facts until a tragic accident forces them to look at the case from a new perspective.

This Christmas will be a slay-ride for sure.

If you have been following Kyle Shannon's exploits you will love "Help Wanted". Kyle's character develops significantly and all your favorite friends are back. Give it a read.

I just finished Help Wanted. I loved every bit of it. I love Linda Mickey's other books, too. This one, though, seems to hit closer to the heart. I have so much fun with the descriptions of Lake County, past and present. Since I grew up in L.C. I can "see" the scenes. Yesterday, my husband and I were driving down Rt. 21 through Libertyville to Wheeling. We were both talking about the old and the new. I mentioned a couple of scenes from the books as we passed certain areas. We had fun with it and it made the trip memorable. Linda's characters and relationships are real and handled in a way that would make the world a much better place to be if only others felt the same way.
