Overview

The tropical state of Porta Bella is ‘Bling,’ where nubile ‘wannabee’s kick start their career against the visual bliss of the coral-beached mecca of television and fashion shoots. Gainesville City provides international tourists and commercial traffic a backdrop of thousands of kilometres of dangerous, inaccessible alligator infested wetlands. Hemmed In, a fast moving adult action thriller with loads of satirical humour, tells of glitz and glamour which involves a psychopath preying on beautiful models. Homicide Detectives Keeley Harrington and Barney Corvette are troubled keepers of the peace, following the trail of senseless murder and mayhem that is grotesquely exhibited around the city and wetlands. Keeley Harrington takes exception to the commissioning of an international profiler Victoria Ambrose, and resigns. Now unarmed, unwittingly placing her on the shopping list of a mass murderer. Who is the killing machine, and how does he access a harvest of beautiful women ....strangely, keeping more of his collection alive than dead….so, where does he keep his butterflies? A gripping and disturbing trip through the mind of a demented predator – a mix of madness, unexpected adult humour, confusion and evil. –You’d be advised to turn on your alarm! So If You Can’t Breathe………..You Might Be Hemmed In!

(A, A, C)
The thunder clapped, and the black cat apeared on Alice's shoulder, holding the key in his mouth.
Alice gasped and stared at the cat, who spat the key out into the sand.
"You.... it...." She stared at the black cat on her shoulder.
"I am Russite." He said, a look of knowwing on his face. "Jump." He said.
"What?" The ground electrified and Alice jumped, her life flashing before her eyes as the bolt of lightning hit a rock just a foot in front of her.
"Told you so," Russite said mysteriously. "We need shelter. Might I suggest," he pointed to an openning in a cliff with his paw, "that cave?"
Alice ran to the cave, and there was a large door with two keyholes in it.
"I had no possible way of knowwing this was here at all!" Said Russite in a voice that hinted otherwise.
Alice slotted the key she had found in one of the keyholes. "It fits!" She twisted the key and pulled, but nothing opened. Instead, arrows fired out of the walls, and Alice ducked.
"Nice one." Russite said.
Alice put the key under a rock and put her coat over the rock, and dozed off.
"WAKE UP!" Russite called in her ear, and she jumped with a start. It was early morning. "We have a trip to the donut shop."
Alice stared out of the cave entrance to find a soaked beach. "The sun hasn't even awakened yet!" Yelled Alice, surprised when it echoed off the cave walls.
"The early bird catched the worms. Now come on you have a drag--" he stopped mid-sentance. "Nevermind." He padded out of the cave.
Alice gave him a confused and suspicious look and followed behind.
Alice got behind the donut shop. For a little beach town in summer, it was awefully dark. She blamed it on the storm. But then, she realized there was something above her.
She looked up, to see something that no creature on earth could ever forget seeing- not even a goldfish!
It had lightning blue eyes and little yellow thunder marks across its face, and two long, black, metal horns. It had big, grey, white, and dark grey scales all over it and two large wings, with a sort of dinosoar look, except with slightly more lizardine legs.
It flew off and Alice stumbled over something. A jar of blood and something wrapped up in rags.
(Options:
Object:
A. Examine bottle first.
B. Examine thing first.
C. Run.
D. Take them both, examine them later.
E.
