    Very Cute Story

My daughter and I loved reading this book together. As a first grader, she had very little problems reading and comprehending the story. As a dog owner, we could relate.

    Another Favorite

My 5 yr old son and I enjoy reading all the Henry and Mudge books. We can relate being that he is an only child who plays a lot with our dog. Good moral to the story.

    Wonderfully written book and series!

My son (and me too) loves these books! He's started reading and enjoys reading in general, but these books have really captured his imagination. He had a "dress as your favorite book character" event at his school and he had to go as Mudge. We've been talking about getting a dog, and he wants a "Mudge" dog! (OH NO!)
I love this series of books. Extremely well written, insightful, with good humor! My friends kids (girls too) love them as well....
Would make a wonderful Christmas gift for the budding new reader!

My Daughter loved Henry & Mudge and the Happy Cat

It is hard to find the just right reading books for my first grader, she wants to read chapter books like her older brother but is not ready yet. The Henry & Mudge series is great because these books are little chapter books which are just right for reading level ~ plus she can't wait to see what Henry & Mudge get into in each book
