    Very Interesting

I did under stand woman had terrible periods but after reading this book it opened my eyes to a new way of thinking. I in my early 20's I had a girlfriend that had juvenile arthritis & usually was in a wheelchair. She was able to take her tampons out by herself but she had me do it because it was faster. She would look at it before she through it out. Then I had another woman take her temperature every morning. Now after reading the book now I understand why they did that. When my 22yr old granddaughter was 11 she asked about her first period. She was afraid to ask her mother because she thought she would take her to the doctor, her father would yell at her, & her grandmother would talk to her to death(like I'm doing now). So I went to a bookstore & nervously asked the clerk about books on the subject. Fortunately she didn't think me creepy & helped me out. I would read the book with my granddaughter. After reading this book I feel like I cheated her to celebrate her first period. I also believe girls & boys should read this book.
