Anna's new friend, Emma, is everything Anna wants to be -- fearless, effortlessly fashionable, and always up for doing something new and fun. The girls even look alike, and soon they're fixing their hair the same way and sharing clothes.

But Emma is also kind of a troublemaker. She likes to sneak off school grounds at lunch, and she doesn't seem to like Anna having any other friends. Emma never seems to get caught, but Anna does. After all, they look just alike.

When Emma's sense of adventure takes a sinister turn, Anna starts to worrry. Is her mirror-image BFF a dangerous evil twin?

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

“A fun and fast read for middle schoolers who like a good ghost story.” –TeensReadToo.com (Review of The Dead End)
“This fast-paced story will capture preteen readers who are eager to walk on the dark side… Perfect for students who see their older siblings reading Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series (Little, Brown), this book will definitely find an audience.” –School Library Journal (review of This Totally Bites!)

I enjoyed this book, as I like all the Poison Apple books. This one, like The Dead End, is actually a little scary rather than just creepy. Emma-- the "evil twin"-- is rather frightening, but maybe that's just me.

This is an amazing book. It may be scary to some people but its great if you like mystery. All poison apple books are great. The only criticism I can give it is that it needs more because it makes you want more and it'll push you to read ALL poison apple books. If you are debating on wether to get it or not GET IT or youll be missing out on something crazy good! Dont judge it so quickly try to finish it all the way through. Trust me the BOOK CRITIC i'll help u to decide if to get any book or not. Its worth your money.

The book was really amazing. It wasn't scary, but it was very interesting, in a good way. Emma was kind of weird, but i'll see what you think. Enjoy the book!

I found it to be an interesting book. I really do not read books like that very often because I will be reading older teenage books,or playing video games. I will sugest this book for older readers about 8 ,9,10,11, or 12 because it actually left me with night mares, and I was so scared to go to sleep for a few weeks or months, although it was a really good story with a good plot. I remember reading it and sitting with my light on at about 11 at night on a school night, and not wanting to put it down. I hope anyone who buys this book either Ebook or from Barnes and Noble feels the same way I do about this book so please enjoh this book.
