Overview

A steamy werewolf romance from New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Tabitha Conall...

Can fated love triumph over the threat of war?

Aislinn Cavett lives a sheltered life, raised in a human supremacist compound and kept separate from the wild variety of non-humans teeming outside the compound's fence.

North American Pack Alpha Darius Bishop believes peace with the Humans First group is the only way to protect his wolves from ongoing, senseless violence.

When Darius arrives at the Humans First compound for peace negotiations, he finds something he didn't expect--his mate. Fate couldn't have chosen a more inconvenient mate for him in the General's daughter, but Darius doesn't care. Aislinn is perfect.

War could be the result of their mating. When her father advances and his own wolves turn against him, Darius has to make an impossible choice--his love and his sanity, or the lives of his pack.

This 40,000+ word long book is the second in the Colliding Worlds series. HEA included.

Meet the Author

Tabitha fell in love with love when she wrote her first play at the age of eight. That story involved three princes who fell in love with three princesses. With time, boyfriends and a degree in writing, her stories gained not just deeper conflict but also a lot more flesh. Now she describes the princes and princesses falling in love, all the obstacles they have to conquer, and also what happens when they close the bedroom door. What could be more perfect?

Alpha Darius Bishop believes that peace with the Humans First group is the only way to protect his wolves but at peace negotiations he finds something he didn’t’ expect – his mate, but mating with Aislinn could result in war in this mesmerizing paranormal romance.
Spine tingling tension builds throughout this fast paced and smooth flowing plot drawing the reader into the story while the well written scenes and details make it easy for the reader to picture the story as it unfolds and the strong compelling characters ensnare the reader ensuring they want to know more.
Darius and Aislinn’s mating couldn’t come with more problems, Aislinn’s been raised in the Human’s First compound and her father is the general of the supremacist which means that a lot of people could die if they carry through with the mating and of course there is the fact that the pack isn’t too happy with his choice of mate. The reader can’t help but get caught up in all the excitement as the danger escalates and the couple tries to find a way to keep everyone alive and have their HEA.
The Colliding Worlds concept that the author created is fascinating and promises lots intriguing possibilities for this series and this one is no different, I was completely caught up in the story from the very beginning and I can’t wait to read the next one.

brings danger to his people. They face an impossible situation. Who has to make the sacrifice? I
was eagerly turning the pages not knowing what was going to happen next. I loved it. I definitely
recommend you try it. This one is going to my favorites. I can't wait til the next one. This author

I am writing this review for author Tabitha Conall. This is book 2 of the Colliding Worlds series by the author.

Aislinn is trying to help her father with the first meeting of the Humans First between the humans and the wolves. Little does she know that the entire meeting has been sabotaged by her father. Darius has arrived at the meeting of the Humans First but when he finds his mate is there and she is the daughter of the man who hates shifters and wants them dead nothing prepares him for the next outcome.

Wow this story has action, drama and romance all in it. The characters are great and how they interact with other works. This story line is smooth from start to finish.

This is a very good paranormal romance book and 1 that you would do well to have in your library.

Tabitha Conall has done it again! Her Forbidden Alpha has it all

Tabitha Conall has done it again! Her Forbidden Alpha has it all including an impossible situation and star-crossed lovers. Romeo and Juliet in the form of a werewolf and a human. Aislinn Cavett and Darius Bishop must choose between love and what is thought to be best for their families. Aislinn is the daughter of the General of the Human Purists, while Darius is the Alpha of his werewolf pack. The shifters want peace, the General wants war. Prejudice and love battle it out.

I love this series and am anxiously awaiting the next one, Her Scottish Alpha. The Colliding Worlds series is awesome in that mystical characters are colliding with Earth... and love!

Really good book. If you love shifter books you're going to love this one. This is the second book in the Colliding Worlds Series. I will definitely read book one and will look forward to reading more from this author. This was a whole new take on shifters. I loved it that is was different yet familiar. I loved how she was supposed to be her enemy yet he formed the mate bond anyways. It turned out she herself was not the enemy. I really liked how she was so compassionate toward the shifters. wonderful story.

I have to say that the concept of the story was a little differe

I have to say that the concept of the story was a little different from other shifter tales I have read. We still had a Alpha, a pack, mates, drama and bad guys. However, the existence of the paranormal element was somewhat unique. I don't want to spoil it so you will have to read the book to find out. This was a well thought out storyline with a lot of twists and turns. The characters felt very real and were easy to identify with. I was surprised that there was a bit of racial bigotry besides the paranormal but it was woven in to the story and really worked well. This is an enjoyable read that keeps you guessing what will happen next. I hope there is more to come and I eagerly await to see what happens next.

**I was given a copy of this book for a complete and honest review**

What happens when worlds collide??? Chaos, fear, anger, bigotry, war and sometimes even love!

Ms. Conall has introduced an interesting world of intersecting universes/worlds that collide with the Earth. In this story the werewolves & Human Firsters are at war. Darius Bishop the Alpha for the North American wolf Pack wishes to avoid all out war but the General of the Humans First is rabid with nothing but contempt and hate for the wolves.

Against the advice of most of his command contingent Darius agrees to peace talks with the general at a location outside of the Humans First Compound. To say the negotiations go badly would be an understatement. An attempted poisoning of the werewolves at the luncheon sets off a chain of events that could plunge both sides into outright war. To add fuel to the fire Darius scents his mate - the general's daughter Aislinn Cavett. Anger and mating instincts takeover as Darius takes Aislinn "hostage" to save his guards lives and to get them out of the tight spot they find themselves. Aislinn sheltered, ignored and unwanted doesn't fully understand her part in the unfolding drama.

Darius explains things to Aislinn once they reach the safety of the wolves stronghold. At war with himself, his duty to his people and the overwhelming need to claim his mate his mind is crowded with decisions he must make quickly. Aislinn also ponders what she wants, needs and what would be best for everyone.

After an attack that kills several wolfs Darius knows that he must sacrifice his sanity not only for the lives of his people but also for the safety and happiness of his little mate.

Follow Darius' and Aislinn's confused, sad and ultimate journey to love, safety for the people that matter most to them and their future together.

This book made me smile and cry as I read the story unfolding between the two star or should I say species crossed lovers. The story is full bodied, detailed and charged with emotion. I will be reading and looking forward to any books written or forth coming from this wonderful writer Tabitha Conall.

A remarkable love story unfolds as unrest looms between different species. There is intrigue and intense sexual attraction, as Darius and Aislinn try to bring peace to their world. They must make difficult, heart wrenching decisions as their journey moves forward. I enjoyed this story and look forward to much more from this author.

I was so looking forward to this second book -- and I wasn't disappointed. Aislinn's and Darius' HEA is sweet, something I never thought I'd use to describe a werewolf romance. But it was about strength, too. It wasn't a typical story where the heroine needs rescuing as in her own way, Aislinn is as strong as Darius. And Darius...he sacrifices himself for all to live and prosper. I am looking forward to the next book -- can't wait for next month!

    This book was very touching

There was more emotion in this book than in most of the T. Conall books I have read. The story line was different than the majority of
the shifter books I have read (and that's a lot). It is a little slow in
the beginning but than picks up and was a very enjoyable read.

I was given this book for an honest review and I loved the book.

Aislinn (daughter to the General of the Humans First) and Darius (Alpha of the wolves) are both hoping for a some sort of peace to come from the negotiations that are about to take place. The General has other ideas and trouble ensues. I don't want to give anything away but when Darius realizes Aislinn is his mate things get real!

Aislinn is a shy but strong woman willing to sacrifice her own happiness to keep peace and Darius is a tough Alpha willing to sacrifice all for his pack. The heartache and happiness in the story is so real and you just keep cheering for Darius and Aislinn.

This was a different telling of the war between humans and werewolves than normally read. I was sorry to see the sorry end it was just that good, so if you love werewolves than I highly recommend this book to you!!

    Another great story Tabitha. Congratulations!!

Paranormal Romance has always been a favourite of mine, and I find it extremely refreshing when an author steps outside the norm and puts their personal stamp on the genre.

I loved the concept of PNR worlds created from human dreams, and the inevitable conflict when the beings of dreams become all too real and fallout when the extremists of humanity feel threatened.

But damn, one thing I wasn’t prepared for the author’s ability to bring me to tears when describing the emotional torture suffered by an Alpha who makes the ultimate sacrifice to save his people.

Any true supporter of this genre can’t help but fall in love with this series, and I for one will be hanging out for the next book!!
