    Wow!

Love this plot and characters! Well Done! Short and sweet but I didn't feel like it was too much info too fast! Good sex scenes!

This is my 2nd time reading Laura Kaye's writing, the first time

This is my 2nd time reading Laura Kaye's writing, the first time was her novella Hearts in Darkness which I LOVED!!! It's the best novella that I have ever read, so I've been eager to read more from Ms. Kaye.

Her Forbidden Hero is one of those long lost love stories. Alyssa has been pinning over her brothers best friend, Marco, for as long as she can remember. Alyssa moves back to her home town with barely a penny to her name. She needs a job ASAP and ends up getting a job where Marco works at.

Marco is an ex-special forces vet who was wounded in combat and was forced to leave the service. Marco is licking his wounds and still trying to find his way back to his old self. He's kind of lost right now, not knowing what to do with himself and is suffering from PTSD.

It took sometime for Marco to warm up to the idea of Alyssa, after all she is his best friends "little" sister. After all the guys start ogling her, he finally realizes she's not a little girl anymore. Shortly after sparks start flying between the two of them. Marco doesn't believe he deserves her, he doesn't feel whole anymore. Once Marco finally opens up, OH MAN!!

There was a scene in the water...*fans self* it reminded me of some kink on my honeymoon. HAHA! TMI!!! The sex is HOT in this book! It was a quick easy read, I read it in a matter of hours and I look forward to the next book in this series with Alyssa's brother.
