Her Mates’ Embrace is the fourth book in the Primal Attraction series by Rebecca Airies. I chose this book because the summery was very intriguing. I really liked this story even though I did not read the prior books in the series.

Cami has had a hard life, two men from her past are hunting her because she stole something from them. Her visions lead her to Linc and Colm. It is apparent that she has trust issues because she is not honest about who she really is to them.

Linc and Colm are the leaders in there group. They seem to really care about the people around them. They are very strong and dominating characters. It was very hard to get a handle on each of them individually because they were together for most of the book.

While the sex scenes are hot and spicy, I did not get the chemistry between Linc and Colm with Cami. It seemed a bit flat and forced to me. Linc and Colm had tons of chemistry between each other. The connection just was not really there once Cami joined.

I also wonder about consent. She spent so much time insuring they would not become mates. Did she give in because they would no let her go?

While this book can be read as a standalone, I find its best to be read as part of the series. I would have loved a short glossary as to what certain words meant in the beginning or end of the story. While the author tries to include what the words meant in the beginning of the story, there was no easy way to double check what the words meant once you were into the story.
