## Way to much arguing for my taste. The heroine was awful. She was such a witch, I don't see how the reader is supposed to believe this great guy falls in love with her. Once the parents are introduced, we understand why she's so awful but that doesn't excuse it. Can't really recommend.

After enjoying books 1 and 2 of the Man series by Nona Raines, I impatiently waited for book 3, Kim’s story. I loved meeting Kim in the first 2 books. It was obvious in the first 2 installments that she was much more invested in the relationship with Adam than he was so I looked forward to seeing if she would get her happily ever after.
On the outside Kim gives an air of being tough and unbreakable but inside she is deeply scarred from growing up in a less than loving home. She is insecure and scared of letting anyone get too close to avoid getting hurt. Then we have Charlie who is a neighbor of Kim’s in the same building. He is the complete package, sexy, smart, gentle, loving and tenacious. He knew exactly which direction he needed to go with Kim to break her tough outer exterior and get to the real woman beneath. I enjoyed watching the sparks fly between them and couldn’t do anything except root for the two of them.
This story line takes place parallel to Take This Man. It was great to see some of the same scenes however this time around from Kim’s perspective. I chuckled again and thought to myself “you go girl” when she whacks Adam with his sandwich. What a classic scene!! Even though Adam redeemed himself in book 2, I can’t help but love that part and got to read it twice!
If you are looking for a great story with lots of emotion, conflict, tenderness and steamy sex, you will enjoy Her Perfect Man. It is a great third addition to the Man series and Ms. Raines definitely did not disappoint. She has found a place on my auto-buy list and I look forward to reading all I can by her in the future.
