More About This Book

Overview

For as long as she's lived, Arysta has loved horses. So entranced is she by their majestic beauty and strength that she really has no time at all for men - not that their boorish, predictable ways offer her any pleasure, regardless.

But one fateful day, while on a ride through the deepest wooods, Arysta happens across an awesome sight - a group of Centaurs, straight out of legend!

Arysta is enchanted by their power and equine forms. And for the first time, she feels something welling up deep within her - a strange, tumultuous lust that makes her suddenly bold with desire. She may have never touched a man before... but these are much more than men. And she's not about to take no for an answer...

Excerpt:
“Wait!” She ran to block Mino’s path and before he could say anything, she did the only think she could think of doing – she pulled down his face and kissed him.

It was only meant to be a distraction, a way to buy time while she thought of a good idea to prevent the centaurs from leaving her behind, but the moment her lips met Mino’s, she could not seem to think, her mind seemingly trapped in a haze. Not only that, the sensation she had felt earlier had returned, her heart pounding once more.

She had never kissed a man before and now, she suddenly understood why her sisters longed for it so much. Sure, it felt a little strange, but she could not help but want more and more of it.

More.

She parted her lips, feeling that it was the right thing to do, and the moment her tongue met Mino’s, she could not help but shiver. His tongue felt so warm, so soft, so slippery against her own and it tasted unlike anything she had ever tasted before. Gently, she prodded it while she moved one of her hands down to slither and slide across Mino’s chest, her fingers brushing against one of his nipples.

At that point, he let out a groan and for a moment, she was afraid he would toss her aside and leave her behind for good, but then she felt his hands in her hair and his tongue come to life, mingling with her own, and she could not help but feel a surge of triumph.

One of his hand closed around locks of her hair, pulling on them hard enough to cause pain. Strangely, though, it did not bother her, instead adding to the excitement simmering inside her. The other moved down past her shoulders to where her cloak was fastened, tugging on the knot until it came loose, the cold air on her skin making her suck in a breath.

He broke the kiss and pushed her against a tree trunk, his eyes darkened with lust as they stole across her tiny form.

“Mino,” Tarim spoke, approaching them. “Are you sure about this?”

“She asked for it,” Mino reminded, his gaze still on her. “Perhaps this will teach her what it means to bargain with centaurs.”
