(Excerpt)

Inside, a bellman escorted them up the glass elevator to their suite on the twentieth floor. Their luggage had already been delivered, and their clothing for the reception given a touch-up pressing, compliments of the Maddison. The reception guests would be arriving any minute, which left them about an hour to change clothes and relax before they were expected downstairs in the ballroom. With a bow and a wink and a sly tip from Tony, the bellman left, shutting the door quietly behind him.

The room was gorgeous, with a big round bed dressed in a lovely red bedspread and a dozen black, red and white pillows. The bathtub was large enough for four of them. Liese looked forward to soaking with Tony while sipping champagne in a warm bath full of scented bubbles.

"Want to take it for a spin?" Tony asked, bouncing on the bed.

"We don't have time," Liese said, though suddenly she wished they could just skip the reception and stay here, alone, the rest of the night. Tomorrow morning, they would be off to Hawaii for their week-long honeymoon. She brushed her fingers through his wavy dark locks, loving the way the curls tumbled down over his forehead, accentuating his sexy gray eyes. He pulled her into his lap and kissed her neck. "Want to see what I got you?"

"Yeah!" She stood to let him up.

He rummaged in his suitcase and pulled out two boxes. "Ta-da!"

"Lubricating gel? I don't have a problem getting wet," she said.

"This isn't really lubricating gel. It heats you up. You just put a little dab on and bam! Yowzer!"

She laughed. "I've seen TV commercials for this. Guess we can try it."

Tony put his arms around her and started kissing her neck. "Let's try it out now. We have an hour, right?"

The clock read four-forty. His lips made her skin tingle, and a warmth spread straight to her groin. She'd always been intensely attracted to him, she found it nearly impossible to stay away from him whenever he was in the same room. He was the only man she'd ever had this sort of chemistry with. "We have fifty minutes. I'll need twenty minutes to dress and touch up my hair and make-up."

"That leaves us thirty minutes," he said against her skin between kisses. "If you don't come in thirty minutes, we'll pick up where we left off later." He swirled his tongue on the sensitive spot on her neck, the one that sent shivers all through her body.
