My brother found this CD at a yard sale for a few cents or I would have never heard it. Heritage is a wonderful mix of folk, bluegrass and classical music. Highlights are a spooky version of Pretty Polly by Mary Chapin Carpenter, O Death by Mavis Staples (better than Ralph Stanley?), and Hard Times Come No More by Willie Nelson. If you like this try tracking down two obscure CDs on Rounder by the Wayfaring Strangers titled Shifting Sands Of Time and This Train.
