Andrés Duany is a founding principal of Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company, a founding member of the Congress of the New Urbanism, and an adjunct professor at the University of Miami. He is the coauthor of Suburban Nation: The Rise of Sprawl and the Decline of the American Dream and the author of Towns and Town-Making Principles. He lives in Miami.
