Jill Shalvis does it again!! He's So Fine Lucky Harbor book #11

Jill Shalvis does it again!! He's So Fine Lucky Harbor book #11 is just as entertaining and full of real life as the rest of them. Olivia Bentley came to Lucky Harbor to get a new start.  She is a lively, quirky lady that runs the vintage shop in town.  Cole Donovan is a former Navy Seal, that works with his best buddies with Lucky Harbor Charter boats.  He is a guy that expects you to be totally honest in all aspects of life and is the fixer of what is broke.   One day Olivia sees a man drowning and without thought goes in to save him.  Little did she know that the man was former Navy Seal, sexy surfer guy next door, Cole Donovan!  Ultimately she ends of saving her, even as she sees she was saving him! Laugh out loud humor! Their journey to find what they are each looking for is as uniquely heart –warming and sexy as I have grown to love about Jill Shalvis’ books!  I am so looking forward to the next Lucky Harbor book!

    MY REVIEW:

five fine stars! This was great! The set up in these two meeting each other had me in tears with laughter. Who would have though a prior SEAL would need rescuing from drowning! Ha!

I loved the toughness of both the heroine and hero in this read. It had me engaged, and not wanting it to end. I have to say at this point I only with this Town actually existed. I would so visit there and most likely people watch all these characters just to see how they are doing now.

This book is just as steamy as the last, and Ms Shalvis doesn't disappoint with a great read!

    I LOVED He’s So Fine!
First of all, I adore Olivia. She’s a very stand-offish kind of person that makes the best kind of friend ever. Plus, I want to visit her shop.
Second, this book just takes you away to a fun, light-hearted, peaceful place that you won’t want to leave.
One of my favorite parts was when Lucille gets offended that Facebook doesn’t enjoy tasteful art. Huh… that reminds me of someone else… ;)

Jill Shalvis has written another hysterically funny, wonderful story. This is a laugh out loud read. The story is about a former child star and a charter boat captain who meet in unusual circumstances. They must overcome mistrust issues from previous experiences to find a love of a lifetime. I couldn't put this book down, I highly recommend it.

He's So Fine by Jill Shalvis (Lucky Harbor #11)

    4 STARS

Love the characters, love the humor, the friends, Lucky Harbor town. It made me smile, laugh and not put the book down. I admit that I read two Lucky Harbor books today and don't want to wait for the next one.

Hate the swearing and love scenes I skipped over.

Lucky Harbor, WA is the setting for this book. It is a small town on the ocean.

Cole Donovan is charter boat captain. He and his two best friends are in business together. He is single.

Olivia Bentley has lived in Lucky Harbor for a year. She is hiding a big secret from everyone. She owns her own business a second hand shop. She lives in a warehouse apartment across from Lucky charter boats.

The opening chapter makes you laugh a lot. It draws you into the story fast and keeps you the whole way till the end.

I love how Olivia takes one day a week and closes her shop to teach and play dress up and acting with the children.
Pink and Kendra are two little girls that have been in a few Lucky Harbor books. They take part even though Kendra still hardly talks. I want them to get a story with their father.

I do like Jill Shalvis sense of humor and her writing. I will keep reading and laughing as I read her charming characters of Lucky Harbor.

I was given this ebook to read and in exchange agreed to give honest review. Received book from Net Galley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing)

Jill Shalvis pens another gem in the Lucky Harbor series with He’s So Fine.

Olivia Bentley came to Lucky Harbor to get away from her former life. Her she can be whoever she wants to be and no one is the wiser.  Olivia enjoys running her vintage clothing store and getting to know the locals.  One in particular has caught her eye, hunky Cole Donovan.

Cole Donovan first meeting with Olivia has her almost drowning him while she “tries” to save his life.  Cole has guarded his heart after his former love betrayed him, so he is cautious to start another romance.  But Olivia draws him into her world with just a come hither look.

Olivia has a huge secret that could destroy this budding romance.  Will Cole be able to forgive her when he finds out who she really is?

The Lucky Harbor series are fantastic.  Each book will draw you into this lovely little town with its cast of characters.  Olivia and Coles romance has its ups and downs. You will find yourself routing for them to find their happy ever after.  You can’t go wrong with a Jill Shalvis’s story.

Another winner from author Jill Shalvis-emotional and has you crying at the end of the story. Olivia has just moved to town with a new business and trying to hide from her family. Cole works with his two friends at the local dock with a charter boat company. The book gets you so involved in the emotions that the characters are going through that you just want to keep on reading. Going on the keeper shelf as always with Jill's books.

The Lucky Harbor Series is a set of companion novels that can each be read as a standalone, and has become one of those series that gives you that feeling of receiving a special treat each time a new installment comes out.  He's so Fine is one of those special treats.  Once again set in the beautiful town of Lucky Harbor, we get to read Cole and Oliva's story.  If you've read any of the previous novels, you will recognize who Cole Donovan is.  We briefly met Olivia in It's In His Kiss.  Cole, Sam, and Tanner run a boat charter company and happen to be three of the sexiest guys in town.  Olivia lives in the old warehouse next door which has been converted into several apartments.  Olivia also runs a little vintage shop in town.  She is a bit of a recluse, but she has her reason for being this way.  She is also a really sweet and caring person, despite what she did and who she was in her younger years.  Hiding and keeping her secret has been a way of life for her, a way of surviving, never allowing her to get too close to anyone.....that is until Cole comes into her life.  Cole Donovan is a hot sexy surfer who is one of the most stand-up guys you'll ever meet.  He also values honesty and expects it from those he cares about.  Cole had a bad relationship experience several years prior, having been hurt much deeper that he has ever let on, and has avoided relationships and women for the past 2 years.....until he meets Olivia.  Everything seems good, until secrets once buried come bubbling to the surface and then explode like a geyser.  Both Olivia and Cole have to face some tough decisions about their lives and their future, and whether they can remain together after it's all said and done.

To say these two have chemistry is putting it mildly, and the way they meet is both entertaining, endearing, and of course hot.  I really enjoyed both characters and as is Jill Shalivs' trademark style, she provides her readers with a romance that will make you laugh, smile, swoon, and root for the characters involved in the story.  I love that we also get to see glimpses of other characters from previous series as well.  He's So Fine is another wonderful contemporary romance that I thoroughly enjoyed, one which will "take you away" for several hours as you disappear into the the world of Lucky Harbor and enjoy the ride.  If you've never read anything by Jill Shalvis, I certainly would encourage you to do so if you are a contemporary romance fan.  She's quickly become one of my favorite authors and I've loved everything I've read by her so far.

Loved this book. The second in the latest trilogy from Jill Shalvis will not disapppoint. Not only do we get to know Cole better but we learn more about Olivia and why she is so guarded. As usual the secondary characters and storyline are the icing on the cake.

~Reviewed by ANN & posted at Under the Covers Book Blog Oli

~Reviewed by ANN & posted at Under the Covers Book Blog

Olivia Bentley is what she goes by now. For a time, Olivia used to be a fresh face in Hollywood where her TV show was a smashing success until she got older. Tired of that life and the scrutiny involved with it, she runs to Lucky Harbor to open up a vintage shop, hoping to remain unnoticed within the crowd. What she doesn’t know is that it’s hard to remain under the radar in Lucky Harbor especially when you have the attention of Cole Donovan, aka Captain Hottie.

Suffering from traumatic stress after an electrical shock has Cole almost “drowning” in the water. But fear not! Olivia jumps in to save him. Only she isn’t the Supergirl she claims to be, especially when she needs to be saved herself when she realized she can’t get him out. Much like the other books by Jill Shalvis, there a lot of laughs to be had in this book. Not only does the book start off with an outrageously funny and adorable scene, but it really sets the tone of the book.

Cole’s book explores a little more about the friendship between Sam, Tanner and Cole and how they became so close and started this business together in memory of their good mate, Gil. However, there is more to it too. Cole’s girlfriend of three years, Susan has leaves her mark on Cole and maybe not in the best way. This insight really opened up a lot of things in terms of Cole’s character and I think it really added a lot of depth to him. I always find that Shalvis is able to create such endearing characters with each book in the series.

I can safely say that this last trio of books remind me a lot of the first three books in the series, all of which are among my favorites. I feel like Shalvis has a plan as she writes this and it’s because of that direction that I believe the books are better for it. Each character has room to grow and by the end of the book, you’re not only falling in love along with the characters, but you’re also learning new things about life in general too.

HE’S SO FINE is filled with Jill Shalvis’s charming humor, her distinct small-town feel and of course, unforgettable characters.

The next to the last book in the Lucky Harbor Series, He¿s So Fi

The next to the last book in the Lucky Harbor Series, He’s So Fine is another winner! This one is about Cole and Olivia. Readers who have kept up with the series will recognize Cole as one of the three amigos owning the charter boat business. Olivia is running from a past and a fame she never wanted and is trying to keep her distance and fade into the background. This isn’t how Lucky Harbor works though! She gets drawn in through her vintage store, where she provides weekly costume parties and story time with the children in town.

Cole has tried to avoid attachments due to this past, and is successful, until Olivia attempts to “rescue” him by jumping on top of him in the water and almost drowns them both. They have great chemistry, and Jill does a great job in crafting their story. I love how Jill shapes up the conflicts in this book, and how the characters have to work through real issues with each other before they can have a chance at a happy ending.

Can’t believe this series is almost over!
