Meet the Author

Natasha Bruecher (aka Tacha) is a quilt designer and teacher who is well known in the online quilting community as a founding member of the Fat Quarterly e-zine. Tacha has published many patterns and articles as a part of Fat Quarterly and has contributed to a number of books that will be released throughout 2012. Her patterns have also appeared in Sew Hip magazine. Tacha dabbled in many crafts before discovering her love of quilting; since that discovery, she has been hooked. The world of Flickr swaps and online bees only served to heighten her obsession with fabric, and now she is rarely to be found without thread or fabric in her hands (or on her clothes!). Tacha lives in Berlin, Germany, with her husband and two daughters.
