fans will enjoy the latest escapades of the Station Five firefighters

Station Five firefighter Julian Salvatore knows he is in love with beautiful attorney Grace McKenna, but she ignores his efforts to start dating even as he knows he is being a pest. He just refuses to accept negatives from her.

However, Julian becomes concerned for Grace's safety when he learns she represents the person who molested him as a child. He voices his fears to her but she blows away his trepidations. However, she reconsiders his warning when he is injured in a hit and run that seemed deliberate at a time someone is abducting and killing people. As he heals, they team up to investigate who the culprit is as they each believe the driver is the deadly kidnapper.

The latest Firefighters of Station Five (see Under Fire) is a fast-paced romantic suspense thriller starring a hero with issues forged by his childhood molestation that comes back to haunt him as the client of his beloved and the lawyer he loves who has her own issues with doubt re commitment. Julian's issues with his cronies especially his Captain make him seem genuine as does Grace's indecisiveness even as she overdoes the changing of her mind to the point of irritatingly sending the reader yelling at her to stay the course. Although the villain is a caricature over the top of the station house, fans will enjoy the latest escapades of the Station Five firefighters.

If you like Hot romance, with buff beyond belief guys then come and visit Jo Davis' Station Five firehouse series.

Julian Salvatore has harbored a dark dirty secret from his childhood and has used the faced paced ladies man image to guard it. But his secret is about to come out in the form of his nightmare come to life. Grace MeKenna is very aware of all the firefighters being that her sister Kat is married to one of them and she's not immune to the charms of Julian and even gave into one hot kiss once upon a time, but she's got more on her mind than forever with any man, she's got a life plan and Julian's not in it unless it's on her terms. What they both don't know is that they're about to be hit by the freight train called fate and if they survive the danger that abounds they just might have a chance at that all elusive Happy Ever After.
Don't be taken aback, but this is not your grandmother's romance and is not fit for the eyes of young romance readers. Jo's gritty, edgy and sometimes downright profane language is not for everyone. But if you're brave enough to take the plunge you will find a great story with remarkable, memorable characters that are in one aspect larger than life, but in another very down to earth and all very very human. As Jo intimates us with her characters we will be happy to discover that she knows them very well as they all have a very important place in the tale. Her hero Julian and heroine Grace are very unlikely lovers, until you get to know them and remove the layers they've hidden themselves under. Her supporting characters some of whom we've met before in the firehouse we get to reacquaint ourselves with. And her villain(s) is the nastiest thing you've ever met. Her love story is full of hazards and just when we think they'll make it, boom, another rocket crashes. Her love scenes are very sexual, very visual and very visceral, she uses terms that may offend some and yet there is a certain innocence in the encounters.
So put on the aloe because if the fire doesn't burn you, the firefighters will and get up close and personal with the men and women of Station Five where Happily Ever After comes with a definite blaze.

    Fast paced romantic thriller

Welcome to Station Five where fires aren't the only thing that's hot. Firefighter Julian Salvatore is in love with dignified attorney Grace McKenna. He tries several times to date her but she isn't taking the bait. Finally, she says yes but Julian's past comes up and provide depth to the romance as well as the characters. Julian's behavoir on and off the job show the results of child molestation in an adult. The issue of his past is handled tastefully. The bad guy isn't obvious and the romance is emotionally touching as well as sexually gratifying. Welcome to Station Five where men risk it all and find a love worth dying for.

These Firefighters Know How to Heat Things Up!

Hidden Fire is the 3rd book in the Firefighters of Station 5 series. Although it's a stand alone book there are reoccurring characters from the previous two books, so if you like to read in order, I would suggest you do so. It was nice to catch up with Howard, Zach and Sean (whose story I'm most looking forward to).

Julian Salvatore is the seemingly bad boy of Station 5. He's an outcast at the firehouse with his fellow colleagues who kind of give him the cold shoulder and he's go a rep as a Latin lover whether he deserves it or not. I personally think he got a bad rap. He wants to feel like a part of his crew, but he just doesn't know how. As far as the playboy rep - he knows what he wants in a woman and it's quite simply Grace McKenna.

Julian is dogged in his pursuit of Grace. He knows she's the real deal and the only woman for him and he's quite determined to do whatever it takes to show her that he's in it for the long haul no matter how long it takes to break down her barriers.

Grace McKenna's been deflecting Julian's advances since they met in the first book of the series Trial by Fire. She's attracted to the bad boy, but she's a very successful defence attorney who is definitely all work and no play.

Julian's been hiding a terrible secret from his past, something he has never been able to deal with but it has shaped the man he has become. When he spies Grace with her new client, old feelings of unease surface causing Julian to confront his issues head on as he fears for Grace's involvement in the case. When disturbing things start happening in town including dead bodies surfacing, missing teens and even an attempt on Julian's life, Grace and Julian grow closer as they attempt to unravel the gruesome mystery.

Hidden Fire is a great blend of suspense and romance and Julian and Grace are a couple deserving of their HEA.

    sMOKING hOT

Hidden Fire by Jo Davis is another scorcher about those hot firemen of Station Five.

Julian Salvatore seemed to be able to get any woman he wants. But the one he can't forget at first wants nothing to do with him. Julian is willing to put in the time and effort to get attorney Grace McKenna in his bed.

Grace McKenna always prided herself on hard work and keeping her feelings in check. For months Grace has tried to ignore her attraction to hunky firefighter Julian Salvatore. Grace finally agrees to a date with Julian. Their connection is electric and unlike anything Grace has ever felt.

Just as their relationship deepens an evil force from Julian's past threatens both of their lives. But this threat is also affecting a current case of Grace's. Can these two new lovers fight off this evil?

Hidden Fire is another riveting story that will keep you enthralled till the very end. Grace and Julian both are exciting characters. Their past keeps affecting their lives. The danger that surrounds them has them both trying to survive. Jo Davis has become an author I can't wait for the next book to hit the shelves.

    Hidden Fire

This is the 3rd book in the series. It was better than the 2nd, but not as good as the first.
This is the story of Julian Salvatore and Grace McKenna. Grace is Kat's sister, we read about her in the first book along with Julian's attraction to her.
Their love story is a rocky one, Julian is a real player and Grace is a conservative person.
Once again this book is more of a murder mystery book instead of "fire fighting romance" Julian has a secret in his past that comes to haunt him just like the other two characters in books before. Grace and Julian work together to reveal the bad guys and on the way fall in love.
The romance/sex scenes are well written, but I wish there was "more to the story." It just felt like it lacked something.
Julian is my second favorite character out of this series so far. His character is well written and would make any women melt.
