Beautiful cover! It's nice to see that all of the covers in this series have been consistent. It would've been really cool to have both Jacinda and Tamra on this one but it's still fabulous! This is a heart pounding, chest clutching, action packed conclusion to the Firelight trilogy and I absolutely loved it! Hidden picks up right where Vanish leaves off with Will, Cassian and Tamra all preparing to send Jacinda into the enkros compound in an effort to rescue Miriam. The plan is a dangerous one with an unexpected outcome that left me breathless and crying ALL THE TEARS. Jacinda and Will are trying their best to be together but are met with resistance at every turn, whether it's the bonding with Cassian or her issues with the pride. But Will (who is just as perfect as ever IMHO) can only be patient for so long and Jacinda will have to decide what's more important, their future or her need for answers. (Correct answer is: WILL.Every.Time.) Jacinda is fearless in her efforts to protect those she loves and her selflessness is to be praised. It's her willingness to put others first all the time that could end up costing her what she wants the most though. She and Will have known from the start that their relationship is a complicated one and cherish whatever quiet moments they have together which are both heart-achingly tender and bittersweet, but is it enough? I spent the better part of Firelight and Vanish not a fan of Cassian. Regardless of his hotness, I felt he was overbearing, rude and presumptuous of what his relationship with Jacinda should be but all that changed in Hidden. He still tends towards the strong, silent type but in this book, we finally get to see the real Cassian, the whole man (or should I say, drakai?) and you know, I kinda fell in love with him. ;) Tamra comes into her own which was so refreshing. No longer is she lost in Jacinda's shadow but becomes a force to be reckoned with. Just like her sister though, Tamra will have decisions to make, ones that will have lasting effects on their relationship. Then there's Will. *sighs swoony sigh* Could there be another guy as perfect as he is? I think not! He's kind, compassionate, brave and his patience alone could earn him the Nobel Peace Prize. It also doesn't hurt that he's gorgeous and his love and concern for Jacinda are heart melting. But can their love really see them through or are their differences just too great to overcome long term? Will they even get the chance to find out? Along with the four main characters, some familiar faces from the two previous books reappear and we're introduced to some new ones too. (One really, really nice one. *winks*) Not all of these faces are Team Drakai, but one in particular will impact the girls in a way they never saw coming. When finishing a series, it's always important to tie up any loose ends and unanswered questions but a "And they lived happily ever after!" isn't always guaranteed and Hidden is no different. Answering questions concerning Will's drakai blood, where the girls' Mom went and what really happened to their Dad, can be a tall order to fill and Sophie Jordan has succeeded. I know that this is supposed to be the end, time to say "Goodbye" to these characters, but I couldn't help feeling like the story was left in a way that could provide for a spinoff if Sophie Jordan decided to go that route in the future. (I'd read that in a heartbeat! Just sayin')

This is the third book in the series. If you like twilight, City of Bones and Matched then you will enjoy this series. Jacinda is a dragon in her pride. She has been bonded to another dragon but is in love with a human. This book is about her struggle to stay or leave the pride and do right or follow her heart.

I loved this series! A little bitter sweet that the series is done (but there is a novella coming out). Even though the book is not that long, it was action packed and didn't leave you with hanging questions. The romance between Jacinda and Will *Oh My* and an unexpected romance for her sister Tamra. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for something different.

I loved this series, its such a wonderful world that sophie jordan has created. I really just wish that it had been longer if a story, not just this book but the whole series felt a little rushed. But still loved it!

3.5/5 stars Finishing this series has been a long time coming for me. Having read the first book in early 2013, I then reread it later in the year along with the second book. I have been keeping my eye out for this book to show up at one of my libraries ever since. Imagine my surprise (and delight!) to finally find it sitting on the shelf. As packed as my reading schedule is, I knew I wanted to make time to see how things concluded with Jacinda, Will, Cassian, Tamra, and Miram. While I enjoyed the final book in the series, I do feel it was a bit rushed and that we only skimmed the surface of some major events. I am a big fan of Sophie's writing and she definitely didn't disappoint in pulling me back into the story. I easily picked right back up where we left off and that was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders, as I was afraid too long had passed between books. The book takes off running with Jacinda and crew initiating a rescue mission to save Cassian's sister, Miram, from the dreaded enkros (scientists who capture draki for research and study). It is said that once captured, no draki has ever escaped the enkros.... Jacinda certainly has her work cut out for her, but she feels obligated to do this, as Miram is the one who got captured because of her and Will's plan to leave the pride for good. Jacinda's time in captivity, while short-lived, is one I would have liked to read more about. I wanted to know more about the enkros' plan, what they hope to accomplish with the draki, etc. We didn't quite get the depth I would have liked, especially being one of the most intense parts of the book. Jacinda has a lot going on in this book. She feels the guilt of Miram being captured, as well as being bonded to Cassian and his emotions when her heart belongs to Will. She is constantly afraid of how Will is feeling and doesn't want him to think she has changed her mind in regards to their plans of leaving. She is constantly reaffirming her feelings for him, which I thought to be a bit unnecessary, as I never saw there being a true love triangle between her, him, and Cassian. Aside from that, the stakes are now much higher than they ever were and feels she must follow through with everything before she can truly separate herself from the pride. I understood her need to do this, but it only served to frustrate Will, which in turn frustrated me. He feels as if she will never be able to leave like they planned and this really causes some tension between them. I felt he was acting a bit selfishly, especially with him knowing she would never be able to be free with him, until she made sure everything was taken care of. Don't get me wrong- I love Will. He's a good guy and has gone to great lengths to help Jacinda and her pride. I have been rooting for them from the beginning and we get plenty of tender moments with them in this book. I really liked seeing how close Tamra and Jacinda have become. Before, the sisters were at odds, Tamra jealous of her sister's ability to manifest and her coveted role as the pride's fire breather. Now that Tamra has found herself and her place in the pride, her and Jacinda's relationship is much stronger and I liked seeing these two together. I really like the direction Jordan went concerning Tamra, her love life, and her future with the pride. While this wasn't my favorite book in the series, I am grateful that Jordan tied up loose ends and concluded all major plot threads from the previous books. Some were done hastier than I would have liked, but I am thankful she didn't leave any unresolved. The end was a bit bittersweet for me, concerning one character in particular's storyline, but I understand that it was probably for the best given everything that had happened. I love that Jordan took a chance and created the draki race. It was something different and fresh and I enjoyed reading about their world and the dangers that came with being such a creature. I will miss these characters, but I'm glad to see their story has come full circle and I was satisfied with the way it all ended.

Good story line, but still a little bit whiny for my taste.

Loved this series so much!!! the first 2 were so awesome, but this 3rd one was something to be desired.  Was a big let down sadly. I like to think of this series with just 2 books in it instead of 3 lol.

I read many reviews before I decided to give this series a chance. I was ready to be disappointed. This book took me by surprise! I loved it. It was different from what I was use to reading. Give it a chance.
