Meet the Author

Liz Ball credits her imagination to growing up in the country where her parents encouraged creativity with fairy hikes, creeking, reading and art. With a background in Tool and Die Engineering, Liz turned her love of freehand art into a full time career in the early 1990's. In addition to illustrating 20+ books (including the popular Hidden Treasures series), Liz has a syndicated newspaper hidden picture puzzle (Hidden Treasures), draws personalized hidden pictures for corporations and is a frequent speaker at schools and conferences. She lives in Ohio with her husband, one large dog and an overly fluffy cat. When not drawing, Liz can often be found tending her flower gardens, making pottery, or taking grandkids in search of a fairy tree.
