Would have rated this a zero but couldn't. Bought boxed set and having great difficulties in reading the books on my nook. There are alot of glitches in this item.

I downloaded this set thinking I would be saving money. That wasn't the case, the pages stop turning about the middle of the 2nd book and lock up my Nook so that it has to be turned off and back on. I have contacted Customer Service asking if I could have a refund so that I could buy the books separately (which costs more than the set) and I have been told that since the books downloaded there is nothing they can do. I have gone into a B & N store to ask their Nook "expert" for help, though she was very sweet, she couldn't find a solution to the problem and ended up calling Customer Service. She was given the same answer. So, don't waste your money on this set.

Loved the books. They were a quick and easy read that really kept my attention but the box set doesn't work o the nook. i had to get the store to refund through customer service after he 800 number had me erase my whole library and reregister my nook because they couldn't fgure it out. I'll bet Maddie could have..!

Loved the books, hated them on the Nook. I learned my lesson to never by a boxed set, it was awful. As other readers mentioned, couldn't get the pages to turn, continued to freeze and wasn't able to read the last two books on the Nook.

I absolutely loved it!! I read the reviews and I think everyone is exaggerating. The boxed set was not slow and I'd say it froze on me twice, at most. Its a large file so I expected it, had patience and finished the reading. I bought it thursday night and was finished by friday evening. Addictive, funny, and entertaining. Highly recommend!

I'm glad to read other reviewers say they could not get the boxed set to work on their nook. I spent hours on the phone, online and via email trying to get this to work and they basically told me I was nuts and didn't know what I was talking about. I was so disgusted. I told them I'd spend more money to buy them all individually if they'd give me my $14.95 back but that wasn't going to happen. Now I'm getting them from the library so I can read them. I've basically been happy with my nook until this fiasco. I'm certainly not buying as many books as I use to, I figure why should I reward their poor customer service.

I absolutely love this series, there is everything you could ask for in a book. You have your romance, humor, suspense and a happy ending. I read the other reviews and was nervous about purchasing the set because a lot of people said they had issues with the nook keeping up with the amount of pages. I just want everyone to know I had not one issue and I have the older nook. Do not pass up this series!!!!!!!

Do not buy the boxed set. Great story but like everyone else there are problems with it shutting down. With everyone having the problem this box set should not be sold.

HOWEVER, I would not recommend buying the box set if you have just a standard nook. For some reason the box set caused my nook to malfunction and lose its place and open one of the books I'd already read. It was very strange, and I thought maybe it was my Nook but just as soon as I switched to something else entirely my Nook no longer acted up.
So I would definitely recommend buying the books individually as they are well worth the read! Gemma Halliday is MAGNIFICENT!

I really enjoyed this series. I read the reviews and saw all the problems others were having with the boxed set but since it was cheaper than buying the first book by itself I took the chance. I am so glad i did. I had NO problems with the set. Pages turned quickly and everything loaded well. Buy this set even if you have a nook, i have the latest nook and there were no problems!

The title character is supposed to be 30 years old. She and her best friend act as if they are 20 and have the maturity of a 14 year old. She is vapid, selfish, inconsiderate, stupid and self-centered. I did not enjoy this series.

I know that many other readers had difficulty with the format on their nook, but I didn't have any issues. I have the original nook with a memory card. The series was funny and the romance was perfect. The main character is a pain in the butt sometimes, since she is always making the same mistakes, but I enjoyed the humor. I would recommend this series to my friends. These books are an escape away from reality, so if you are looking for a completely realistic storyline then you may not enjoy these.

I bought the set and did have a few problems with losing some pages but found that if I went backwards for two or three pages and then when I went back the pages would be there but did enjoy them

There is a mystery of sorts in the stories but mostly it's just a fun read with some ridiculous ideas of femininity. Good for a laugh. I enjoyed them.

I read these in 2 days, I couldn't tear myself away from them! I do have to agree with some other reviews, occasionally the pages wouldn't turn or would freeze up on me, but I didn't have this problem until I got to the last book. But honestly what can you expect from a nook book that's over 3000 pages? As long as you're patient, you can tolerate the slight annoyance. I do have to admit, I wasn't as big of a fan of the 5th book as the rest however, it just didn't have the same vibe as the first 4. I'm now starting on the 6th with hopes that the author uses the same captivating story play as she did in the first 4 books. Highly recommended for fans of Janet Evanovich and Dorothy Howell!
