GREAT REVIEWS FOR HIGH INTENSITY:

“This screwball comedy with a highly sensual twist is guaranteed to provide readers with a rollicking good time! 4 1/2 STARS!”- Romantic Times Magazine

“Dara Joy is a wonder. This book has it all. Great characters, great plot, great sex... There is one funny scene after another. A very entertaining read. I loved it. Highly recommended.”- Jill S.

“She gets better and better. After reading this book as well as all of her others, I have to say that I am waiting in breathless anticipation for her next story. I have indeed found my favorite author and her name is Dara Joy. Her imaginative storytelling will hold you in its grip until you have reached the last page. And make you beg for more!”- Chessley S.

“Classic Dara! She never disappoints me. Ms. Joy is an incredible story-teller. Her sense of humor has never been sharper. There is a lot of steam as well but that is to be expected I stayed up all night reading it and wasn't sorry. It left me happy, which is worth the price to me. And I'll NEVER forget that scene in front of the window! Not much out there compares to Dara Joy. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. She's a wonderful writer.”- Mark G.

“A brilliant writer. I was completely impressed with this book. The characters were completely drawn. The plot was very clean, so clever that it gently took me along on the house adventure until I realized at the end how expertly she had drawn me into the story... I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a happy read. This is the first Dara Joy book I read and I am definitely searching out her others.”- Sheila G.

“Not only was the story's mystery NOT obvious, the author did a surprise take on the old Thin Man films I love so much. I do mean surprise... What a wonderful touch to see Asta traipse through the picture! Hers are among the very few humorous romance books on my keeper shelf, along with Laura Kinsale and Julia Quinn. But she is definitely in a class by herself."- L. L. Mills

“I don't know how Dara Joy writes these guys. They are the best... The book is hot. If you want a book that will let you kick back and just have a good time with plenty of laughs and five alarm love scenes this is the one.”- June B.

“RUN TO GET THIS ONE! A TRUE TREAT! THIS IS THE BEST BOOK I'VE READ ALL YEAR! TYBER IS BACK AS HIS OWN SEXY SELF (YUM!) AND ZANITA IS STILL SPINNING HIM AROUND. WHAT A COUPLE! ADD TO THIS DELIGHTFUL TALE OF GHOST-BUSTING A SURPRISING WHODUNIT AND YOU GET A FIRST CLASS ROMANCE. I READ IT IN ONE SITTING AND YOU WILL TOO. ”- Barbara T.

Could not wait to read this book

I read the first HIGH ENGERY, and enjoyed it then this one was just as good. I would love it if Dara Joy wrote one more to almost finish some of Tyber deep dark secrets in his pass. Great book!

    Totally Fantastic!

I read High Energy, and couldn't wait for more of Tyber and Zanita. This book was worth the wait! Extremely funny, wonderful supporting characters, hot love scenes, what's not to love?

    Fun and fantasy

I found 'High Intensity' to be a romance laced with warmth and good humor. The hero and heroine make for a sexy 'Nick and Nora' team -- the book itself makes for a good read.

    Hystarical

If you like the steamy, hot romances this is a book for you. This woman knows how to write excellent romance. It kept me laughing , grinning, and fanning the whole time. It's a wonderful follow up to High Energy.

    It's OK...

I just got into Dara Joy and I'd just like to say that I don't DISLIKE it. It was ok, but it didn't spark anything like the others did. Maybe because I got so use to the fantasy type done by her. What happened to the Avarian family? Now that is romance!

    Good Characters

I thought this book was good. The different characters and how eccentric they are is wonderful! She also pulls in tidbits from character names of her other series (Rejar, Knight of a Trillion Stars, etc) making you wonder if the two series are not intertwined? I would recommend this book, lots of romance, lots of sex and a good chunk of mystery to go around!

    Network Specialist in Dallas/Ft. Worth

I have read all the Novels published by Dara Joy and truely believe she is the best writer I have ever read. This book however, was somewhat dissapointing. The ending should have been more on the line of getting married in the eccentric way that Zanita and Tyber are. I truely wish for the next novel to be a continuation of the Avarian's family. Those concepts are where I believe her best work is. I will continue to be a big fan and look foreward to her next book. Kristy

    What happened?

I have read several of Dara Joy's books, but this one was very disappointing. She made references to the other books, but never more than a word or two, which was very confusing. The story was hard to follow and very dull.

    Where's the romance?

I am a BIG fan of Dara Joys, therefore, I was keenly disappointed with her latest effort. I'd be hard put to call this a 'romance' novel. It was more like reading about two people having lots of sex. Ms. Joy had already told Tyber and Zanita's story and I didn't feel it needed to be re-told. This book was about what happens after happily ever after than anything else. I feel the story was disjointed in many areas and the plot was alarmingly thin. I also feel that Dara Joy went to GREAT lengths to make all of the characters in this book as eccentric as Zanita and Tyber. The characters were unblieveable and her attempt at a 'Clue' type mystery was sorely lacking. To say that I am disappointed is putting it mildly.

    Joy is a Joy

The works of Dara Joy are always exceptional. I have read everything she's published and her talent for captivating the reader seems to 'intensify' with every novel. I can't seem to get enough. I hope to hear Mills story someday, and anticipate it as much as the continuation of the Matrix saga. Dara Joy has certainly been gifted (perhaps Yaniff has had a hand in this).

    Yummmmmmm!

I have read everything Dara Joy has written and I always enjoy her books and this one is no exception. It is also definitely ALL Tyber. Am I complaining ... no way. In fact, where can a get me a physicist. Even though the plot seems a little thin, I would still recommend this book. It's a lot of laughs, a bit of mystery and the food isn't the only thing that sizzles.
