Def Leppard`s second album and, without a doubt, one of the Sheffield-quintet´s finest. From the sharp riff of opener "Let it go" the album holds its pace, and the set of songs completes each other perfectly. At this stage (1981) the Leppards began to distinguish themselves from the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal-genre. The band headed for a softer, more accessible, sound. Still, there are plenty of rough moments here, so it should be of interest for every collector of the NWOBHM-era. I guess there are a lot of fans who sometimes miss their early days. However, this album is highly recommended. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
