Overview

It looks like Evaline Waters, a River Heights resident, is knee-deep in trouble. A huge corporation is suing her for her land; they want to tear down her house and put up a warehouse. And documentation of the zoning law that would protect Evaline's right to keep her land is missing. Figures!
I've got to find that document, but it's hard to focus on the land when I'm cruising at ten thousand feet. See, Ned and I are taking flying lessons, him with Colonel Lang, a friend of his family, and me with Frank Beltrano, an instructor at our local airport. It's a good thing I'm good at juggling more than two balls at once. Too bad I'm not the only one.

Ok so this new series is not as good as the original but it is ok. As for this book in particular, its very good and exiting. But here is one thing: Carolyn Keene did not write this series, someome ese did. She already passed away by the time the time the series was written. You see high risk was written in about 2003 and the 3 bokk inthe original series was written in 1930 so yeah.

This was my least favorite out of the Nancy Drew Girl Decective series. It was about the law, and didn't have much excitement. I still think you should read it.

this was my least favorite nancy drew book as it didn't have much excitement in it as all the other books but I still liked it all the same. but this book seemed too short even though it's as long as the others and i was done with it in a couple hours but i still recommend it:)

Wow! I've read almost all of the Nancy Drew books (the original ones, the updated ones, and now Nancy Drew: Girl Detective) and this is one of my favorites. I loved how Nancy got to take flying lessons. The clues kept me guessing; however I'd figured it out before the end (the way I like it!!!) I hope to see more great Nancy Drew titles in the future.

This was a good book except for it wasn't as exciting as other Nancy Drew:Girl Detective books. I enjoyed it very much though and I could not put it down. I would definantley recommend this book.

I have a weak spot inside of me for Nancy Drew. Nancy is a wholesome character who always seems to be in the right place at the wrong time. In this updated and renewed version of Nancy Drew, Nancy is taking flying lessons and happens to notice some strange goings on down below her. A hapless landowner is about to be run off her land by a greedy development project, unless she can prove her ownership. If you are a young mystery fan, I trust you will enjoy anything by Carolyn Keene. Keep in mind, Nancy is a bit like Barbie, too perfect, pretty, and rich to be realistic. but it's just a story after all. Read and enjoy.
