Kris Kellar Kahle writes a heartfelt account of her husband's recovery of Lupus that is inspiring to anyone wishing to read about a real-life miracle. Ms. Kahle avoids writing in traditional formal prose, and instead writes in a blog-style narrative which reads like a journal or diary containing tidbits of info and emotional feelings that give it a strong personal touch. Written with humor and pathos at the same time, the reader feels as if they are in the hospital room with her husband, rooting him on.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. It was very informative and inspiring. The author effectively transports the reader into her life as a Lupus wife - no doubt a tough position to be in. She provided meticulous details of the grueling hospital stay and all the complications that her husband had to endure with this ugly disease. She gave the readers a snapshot of the ups and downs of rehab, while giving credit to Rick for his will to live and to walk again. And most importantly, she acknowledged the source of her strength, which will inspire others to seek out during difficult stages in their lives, for with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).Was this review helpful?
