    Great for medical students

I am a first year medical student and I found High-Yield Neuroanatomy to be a great resource tool. It is not useful as a textbook as it does not do a good job of explaining concepts in great details. It is useful as a study tool as it provides what it describes, high yield information. The figures were also helpful as they provided a way to link concepts with visual images, especially with the spinal tracts and where they course to/from in the body. The clinical correlations are the best part, as they bring concepts into a practical setting and allow one to see the effects of lesions, etc. Overall, this book really helped me through my Neuroanatomy block and I am sure I will re-use this book again when I prepare to study for the USMLE Step 1.
