A haunted man…

Once a powerful Fae and heir to the throne of the Fae, Lugus has been given a second chance by his brother the Fae king. No longer immortal, Lugas makes his home off the coast of Scotland as he struggles to cope with his foul deeds and memories of a love that was never his.

A hunted woman…

Ahryn has been bound to the realm of Earth by an ancient Celtic slave bracelet that prevents her from using any of her Fae magic. As her hope dwindles, she spots Lugus and knows he is her last chance. Though he was banished from the realm of the Fae and stripped of his immortality, she trusts him with her life...and her heart.

    Good book.

Enjoyed this one but would have liked the two main characters to be developed more. Their love just seemed quick and corny. Also, thought the story wasnt long enough. Still would have bought the book though, because I love the series.

    Sloppy editing

Like the other books in this series, the editing is very poor. The characters are more like caricatures, lacking development. Was this series self-published?

Fair story - editing leave somewhat to be desired

The story itself is decent, though not quite as engaging as the previous three in the series. The big issue with this book is the editing. There are multiple misspellings and many of the paragraphs end with an extra question mark, which is quite distracting. I would expect that more from a free book than a 2.99 book.

I liked that Lugus got a srcond chance!

This one was a sweet read. Loved Lugus getting a second chance and a way to redeem himself. Aryne was a beautiful soul, the perfect match to aid in Lugus' redemtion. Loved it.

I loved in this book how Lugus got to redeem himself, and his humility was ecstatic. So glad to see Moira again (even if only for a second) few parts where I cried but all in all I lost time reading this book! Cover to cover it was absolutely amazing!! Secrets revealed and I am so glad that Ahryn came to her own opinion about Lugus' changed self rather than judging past. Great read!!!

    Weird use of vocabulary

Book is okay. People trust each other with their lives with little or no foundation. Uses the word, "taunt" instead of "taut" and "conscious" instead of conscience. I guess spell check doesn't catch that type of error.

    Another great tale

Loved the continuation of the story, though it was difficult to adjust to the bad guy's POV this time. Still annoyed by the careless spelling and grammar mistakes that a decent editor would catch, but still a good read.
