Just finished this book and had to smile. You know it will always end right (it is a love inspired) but this one kept me wondering. I loved the secondery romance. A fast and happy read and some scotland to boot.

Highland Hearts by Eva Marie Hamilton
Logan McAllister has returned to Scotland from the Americas to claim his bride. Five long years ago her father sent him off to be an indentured servant to prove he loved Sheena Montgomery and wasn’t just after her money. The problem was that he had to promise not to tell Sheena why he was leaving. He survived the hard work and sea travel. If he can’t win Sheena back, his heart may not survive.
Sheena can’t believe that Logan has returned to Scotland after she begged him not to leave in the first place. And his bad timing includes her being betrothed to a stranger and a wedding that is planned in a mere two weeks. Not that she would take Logan back even if she wasn’t betrothed because she don’t trust that he wouldn’t just take off and leave her again. Can a missing heirloom with a mysterious letter hidden in it bring their two hearts together again?
An enjoyable read accept that I wanted to jump into the book to pummel a couple of the women, Eva definitely did a good job or writing realistic characters. She also did well in describing their homes and showing how those who had less seemed so much more content than those who had more. Plenty of adventure and romance as well.
