Highland Kiss is a contemporary romance with a Scottish, alpha male hero and a sassy, virgin heroine. They are flawed, passionate, and very relatable to readers who enjoy sensual contemporary romance.

Ruby Williams-Chan is ecstatic when the man of her dream, Brian, invites her to his ancestor's home on her big overseas trip. Her plan of a romantic holiday, however, goes haywire when a hunky Scotsman abducts her to his Highland Manor. Ruby is outraged by this arrogant brute who sets her pulse racing and is determined to escape at all cost. Her attempts, however, are futile, and the only option available is to wait for Brian to rescue her while she plays cat and mouse with her captor.

In order to help his sister, Susan, and her ex-fiancé, Brian, get back together, over protective brother Alec Hasting whisks the woman he convinced is standing in the way to his isolated country estate. Making the beauty stay put and out of trouble, however, is harder than Alec imagined. Worst of all, he finds her terribly desirable, her sweet innocence and strong spirit truly refreshing, and that he’s falling in love with her.

Ruby finally got to see him clearly for the first time. She couldn’t help but stare in disbelief. The word gorgeous didn’t even come close to describing him. He was like a Greek god with brown hair and smoky grey eyes. His nose was high and straight, his lips firm, and his jaw smoothly square and strong. She couldn’t breathe normally just looking at him.

Alec raised his eyebrows at her as she sat there gazing up at him, her eyes as large as a kitten’s. She was simply adorable.

“’Allo,” he greeted her, but before Ruby knew what was going on, both his hands landed on the nape of her neck, gently drawing her face closer to his. A flash of a second later, his firm lips embraced her soft ones.

Ruby nearly fainted as his tongue stroked across her bottom lip. She quivered at the unexpected, yet gentle attack. Then his tongue plunged forcibly between her lips and started exploring her innocent mouth.

His kiss became deep and passionate. Ruby was lost in his uninhibited embrace as her fingers dug deeper into his hair and his tongue moved wildly in her mouth, stroking and lashing out at hers.

Just when she thought she was about to go crazy, he stopped kissing and drew back.

Ruby’s sense of being was still floating high in the air as she stared up at him blankly, her eyes half questioning why he stopped.

He gave her a devilish grin, his eyes twinkling.

“That, Ruby, is a kiss,” he said as got up and left the room.

Ruby sat there, staring at the closed door, her heart pounding like she just finished running a marathon. She was stunned.

That, Ruby, is a kiss. The words kept echoing in her head. And my little peck wasn’t a kiss? She touched her sore lips, still staring at the closed door, utterly dazed.

Meet the Author

Hello, my awesome readers, and welcome.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am a writer (abet only a beginner and still learning heaps in this wonderful industry of authorship and book publishing). I love to write romance; be it contemporary (mainly multicultural), reverse harem, historical, historical urban fantasy, fantasy, paranormal, or a combination of any of these.

I am the one responsible for fantasizing up hot, kick-ass heroes and cute heroines, and ultimately, turn their lives into a horrible mess. Hence, I play God in my books, introducing villains (people usually call them antagonists) and causing general havoc so that my drop-dead gorgeous heroes and pretty heroines have to fight to the end to get their happily ever after.

Many may not like my style of writing, or my stories for that matter, and indeed, this is because I am a bit weird myself, choosing to write the way I write. I have been told my taste (on almost everything) bordered on the eccentric side and very unlikely to follow what’s popular. But this is me, and I cannot help myself.

So, my dear readers, I implore you to support me and my books if you love or even like a tiny bit of my books. Because really, without you, then why would I write? Why would I fantasize up all these wonderful characters for you to fall in love with? Why would I fantasize up all these interesting plots for you to grit your wonderful teeth and then shout out, ‘Oh for Christ’s sake! Just kiss her already! And kiss her so damn passionately that her wee toes curl up with pleasure.’

Hence, become my friend and follow me, and yes, invite your friends, too. Bully them if you must. I don’t care. I’ll love you anyway for simply reading my books and becoming my awesome followers. Spread the words, people, because I’m working my way toward the light of being one of the awesomest romance authors on this wonderful planet we call our home.
