    GREAT BOOK! A MUST READ!

I like that the characters Iain and Islaen get married right away and then their relationship is explored. To me Islaen behavior toward Iain was more realistic since she was so in love with him. The story is full of adventure and keeps you intrigued until the end. This is my favorite book by Ms. Howell. Very romantic!

    A reviewer

I really loved this one. I will say though she is more of a trusting and loving wife then I could be. This was a great love story!

    Predictable but Good.............................

You knew where it was going. It was a Highland romance for heavens sake. But it was well written and most important the characters were likable.

    Sweet Romance

Ian MacLagan is a handsome man but is against marriage and children since his first wife died in childbirth. Islaen MacRoth is the youngest of 12 children and the only girl. She is 19 but she still looks like a little girl because she has bound her breasts since they first developed. Since she looks so young, she has been able to put off marriage longer than other girls. Her father wants her to be able to choose who she marries so he has a banquet with eligible bachelors. Islaen thinks him very handsome so she chooses him. It is fun to see how Ian puts aside his aversion to marriage and how he feels about finding out that Islaen is not the "little girl" she seems to be.
