    Good Guide book but....

A good Hiking guide book, but it is not really that easy to understand due to the lack of real maps and often odd word usage

    Outstanding

This is an excellent book that covers hikes for beginners, intermediate and expert hikers. Don't think you can scan the book though to figure it out. You need to read/scan the first several chapters in order to find what type of hike you are looking for. This book goes with me in my dayback everytime I hike along one of its recommended trails. By far the best book out there for hiking along the Wasatch Front (focusing on from Salt Lake to the Point of the Mountain ie. City Creek, MillCreek, Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon, though he does get into southern Davis and Utah counties). Only negative is I wish it would be updated yet again!
