    A Great Fun Read

I have no idea which book 'Anonymous' read but it couldn't have been 'Hilda Hopkins, Murder She Knit'. I suspect Anonymous is a teen spammer with little to do but vent their spite. I thought the book was fun and funny, as well as well written and very fast paced. The anti-heroine is quirky and unique and even lovable in a way. I liked this and all the others in the series. And I don't even knit!

    Hilda Hopkins

Unusual and clever! I thought I wouldn't like it at first, but couldn't put it down until I finished! An elderly lady serial killer with a knitted garrot, no less!

For Those Who Love Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

Quick read, 132 pages. You know right away that Hilda did it and follow her get-away trail afterward. Quite intriguing, with just enough character and motivational analysis to fill in basic blanks.

    Oh Hilda

I wasn't sure that I would like this book but its not bad! Hilda is an odd one and I got a chuckle when reading her view of herself. I plan on reading more in this series.

This was a very clever little book. It reminded me of Arsenic and Old Lace, a movie I loved. It was a quick read and I'm interspested to read others by this author

    A funny little story

But couldnt it have had a less sinister plot. I mean, I am 68 years old and would hate to think people like me could be so evil. I dont like the image it gives senior citizens.

I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read but entertaining. It reminded me of Dorothia Montalvo Puente, who ran a boarding house in Sacramento, CA, and did the same thing as Hilda. I think I'll read more of Hilda to see what else she gets into!

After one Hilda book, you'll be hooked.

I've read all seven Hilda books and pray there will be an eighth!

    Amusing

The grammatical errors were outweighed by the great story-telling. I really enjoyed the story & the writing was humorous & engaging. I recommend it.

    Quaint

Lovely book and series. It reminds me of the movie Keeping Mum. So very fun and full of a good run. Read all of them, you'll look at grumpy, troublesome personalities in a whole new light.

    Great fun
