The Sikh Gurus were from the Hindu society and over the period of time they created their own doctrines in which only one God, without any form, was agreed upon. The idol worship was totally rejected by the Sikh Gurus and the holy scripture Shri Guru Granth Sahib was accepted as the only guiding Guru after the line of ten human gurus.
