    Informative and Entertaining Interviews!!!

"Hire Me Hollywood!" is a collection of interviews with a group of Hollywood professionals. Here you'll find everyone from a hair stylist and on-set tutor to actors and producers. Each chapter has a short glossary that defines terms used in that particular interview. For instance, have you ever seen "grip" listed in the credits of a movie and wondered what the job really involved? Read this book and you'll find out, along with the salary you might expect to earn if hired to work on a movie set. Each person describes their profession and elaborates on the road they traveled to reach their destination in Hollywood. Most of these people had humble beginnings and with hard work, and sometimes a lot of luck, made it to the top of their profession. Their stories are upbeat and often humorous. I especially enjoyed the interview with Stan Lee, the comic book legend. And one last thing....Have you ever wanted to put a face with the voice of Howard's mother on TV's "The Big Bang Theory?" Get this book and you can!

I'll never look at the credits at the end of a movie the same way.

A look at behind the scenes movie making that is fascinating. It is a guidebook to some of the most intriguing jobs on the planet, but the message I got was that hard work and love of your job is what it takes in any endeavor. I really enjoyed this book and learned a lot.

If you like movies, and not just the glitz and gossip about the stars, this is a fun read. Each chapter has "A Day in the Life of" section that I really enjoyed, like being a shadow of the interviewee. Enjoyable reading.
