He addresses preemployment considerations; employee benefits; on-the-job policies, procedures, and problems; and termination decisions. A wide range of issues such as affirmative action, illegal hiring, drug, alcohol, and AIDS testing, and sexual harassment are thoroughly treated. Each subject features a legal opinion in the form of ``counsel comments.'' In addition to numerous ready-to-use checklists, contracts, releases, and a glossary of terms, this readable reference contains 26 appendixes of sample applications, agreements, etc. While differences in local law for all 50 states are not addressed as they are in W.E.
