Jenna Kernan once again does an inspiring job of bringing you into the 1800's. That being said, while I enjoyed this book I had some trouble with the romance between the main characters. It seemed overly hurried and at times a little unrealistic(which is more blaring here simply because everything else is very realistic). I purchased this book because I really enjoyed the 1st book in this series. I would suggest reading that one 1st, I don't think i would have enjoyed this book at all if I hadn't already invested in these characters while reading the 1st book.
