A Daughter of the King

Every little girl dreams of being a princess. And for the one who trusts in God, the Word heralds a most beautiful truth: She is the chosen daughter of the King of all kings. She is a true princess!

Here is a majestic gift for that special young one in your life—personal letters written from her King. Each day a new letter will inspire her to live and act like the radiant princess she is!

Story Behind the Book

“If we can help our daughters learn from a young age that they are God’s chosen princesses, we will help them to win the identity struggles they will face as teens. While we have influence in their lives, we need to deposit in their hearts and minds how much they are loved and how important they are in God’s kingdom. This book will give girls godly confidence that they are chosen by the King of all kings. Read one each day to them and watch them grow into the princesses they are destined to be!”

    Wonderful Devotion

Sheri Rose Shepherd teaming up with illustrator Lisa Marie Browning have done a great job in creating a book that will appeal to the princesses in your life in word and picture. Whether you are a mother, grandmother, aunt, or a dear friend with a special little girl in your life, you won't want to let this "His Little Princess" pass you by.

This book has 50 unique letters from God to His Princess. Each letter focuses on a topic such as trust, love, forgiveness, courage, honoring parents, and the list goes on. The letter is based of a verse in a Bible which is also included in full text. There is also a responding prayer provided which the reader can take to heart and lift up to God.

I found this title a very easy read. And what a wonderful book to encourage talk with God. It truly is a sweet little book that not only warms the heart but challenges and encourages the reader to grow in Christ.

    Awsome!!!

This book is supposedly for little girls. The truth is that it is totally awsome for any person (female) who needs encouragement from time to time. I'm 14. I got this book several years ago and I still love it and read it.

¿Intimate Letters From God to His Little Princesses¿

Sheri Rose Shepherd realizes that all little girls want to be princesses, and in God¿s eyes they all are. The letters from God to the princesses are filled with both love and guidance. He tells the princesses how much he loves them. He also instructs them on how to behave like princesses, like little Christians. Prayer, family dynamics, teasing, rejection, modesty, and character are addressed in these letters along with many other subjects. In the letters, God describes himself as the Heavenly Daddy. This gives the abstract nature of God a more concrete definition. After each letter, is a prayer for the princesses. Parish is a bit young to fully grasp the importance of the letters. However, it is a great way to introduce devotion time. This book is unique in the fact that it has meaning for princesses in elementary school through college. This book is a keeper¿a book to keep and pass on to your princesses.

I "destroyed" the binding of this book. I have used the pages (individually) to mail to 3 young girls. The envelopes only have their addresses and I've never signed my name or anything. My two nieces have loved getting letters from God. I will be "penning" a final letter to them which will be delivered with a Bible that has all the verses highlighted that were part of the daily letters.
